There is a flight attendant, but if she hears me call her that, I could get grounded.

Don't want that to happen.

All together there are 4 keyboards connected. 3 USB and one bluetooth.

It's a nice setup, but like most simmers, it'll never be finished. More work this summer.

Next additions will be be to make the enclosure a little better, and to add a couple more GoFlight Modules. Will doing all of this after my move from Connecticut to Ohio over the next 3-4 weeks.

Not a chance in ---well--- that I can compete with the fantastic setup you have Jerry, but anyway, here are some pics of my new FSFS supporting hardware.

Now the only thing I need, is to learn to use them well....

Very nice setup. Are you using Track IR as part of your setup. Also, how do you like the Saitek switch panel. I thought about getting one of those, but it appears to interfere with GoFlight modules.

Thank you gwplotts:

I do indeed use my TrackIR as part of the setup. Its a great little device.
The Saitek panel was a bitch to install (pardon my French here SL) It was supposed to be plug and play, but in my case it most certainly wasen´t.

First of all the tool delivered with the device, to screw the screws in the original Yoke off, to place the panel on top of it - was the wrong size! but I had one the right size so that was done. I used several bracket screws additional to the ones that came with the set, and now it sits quite firmly on the yoke.

The installation CD contained a driver to the panel, but I couldent get it to work. After a few days, I found .msi files inside the install dir, and executed those manually, and then I got it installed. But now It uninstalled all the drivers and software to the yoke, the pedals, and my X52, so I was on the verge of screaming. I scanned the net for several different drivers, and software for the products, and finally, (well obviously finally - one dont continue to try after it works.... ) I got it to work together.

So now It works fine. Its very very nice to have all the lightswitches right there in front of you, and the gear lever. I havent flown much piston engine with it so far, so all the magnetos functions are still to be explored, but I am confident that it will work fine too.

Thing is, I suck at landing with the yoke. I have used the x52 for so long, so I find it hard to do all the minimal corrections with the yoke, but its getting slowly better, so I am confident.

My next mission now, is to start hiding money from my wife, and saving up to some GoFlight modules. It never ends!

Ole:

Thanks for all the information - sounds like the panel was a bit of a challenge.

Do you have a sack for all that hidden money...?

That's what I meant when I said, it's a never ending expansion. The more I fly, and the more I see with what's available, the more ideas I get for expansion. Now where's that credit card?
