Hi, what a great idea!
Out of the box, I can't get it to work on my system. It generates the approach (demo) OK and loads the FSX situation but leaves me at my default airfield. I had to generate the airports - that went fine. Are there any incompatibilities? e.g. EZDOK? I went over you documentation several times but no joy.

The demo only works with 2 airports...
- Pilot can perform Instant Approaches to runways at Chicago (KORD) or Green Bay (KGRB) only
- Pilot cannot submit flight maps to the FS Instant Approach web site
If you are using the registered (paid) version then have you tested other airports?
Also what version of FSUIPC do you have? This info is on the settings tab of FSIA.

Hi -
And just to help everyone else - remember that as described in FS Instant Approach and its manual, you need to get into your plane in FSX / FS2004 with the engines running first, before you launch FS Instant Approach and ask it to put you on approach.

| I'm having trouble also. Demo downloaded and installed o.k. already have FSUIPC 4.25 installed and working o.k.with other apps. Connects fine to Tim Arnot's Plan G...I select either KORD or KGRB and FSIA tries to move me to new location, but can't and disconnects and returns me to default location. Bypassed Windows firewall and Windows security. I also tried running with the newly downloaded 3.7 FSUIPC but no help. I'll be glad to try to help figure it out. Thanks. Hi Charlie:
I am a little puzzled - are you using FSX or FS2004 (as FSUIPC 4.x is for FSX and FSUIPC 3.x)?
As to other software - not sure how what you have described is integrated with FS (just not familiar with it), but we make no claims that FSIA will work with any software except FS as there as so many millions of combinations of add-ons and configurations.
FSIA uses the same core technology as our FSFlyingSchool, which has proven to be fine with a great number of FS add-ons, but of course we offer the free demo so that folks can try before they even consider spending any hard-earned Flight Sim dollars!
What do you see when FSIA "tries to move" you to a new location?
What do you see when FSIA disconnects?
Are you getting into your plane before you use FSIA - as required?
