Some aircraft use differential braking for steering... ie the DA20 fsu's I sent earlier .  I would love to be able to toggle off the dude griping about everytime I need to steer the aircraft yet retain the other notices.

This is a good point and has also been raised by another tester - we are looking at adding a new property to aircraft data, stored in the FSR/FSU file, which determines if the aircraft is routinely steered by use of throttle and brakes.
If this is true, then the instructor will not bring it to the attention of the pilot and the pilot will not lose points for it.

Right now, if you ignore the instructor when doing this you will lose points.
