Defintely run as admin as per instruction
MakeRwys is 4.6991
When i do click on generate runway data.. the makerwys prompt pops up and says
Failed to make all the data files
Failed to make fstarrc rws file
Total airports=0, runways=0
But when i click ok
I get prompt box
Fsflying school runways data v3.41
And it processes runway data.
I did read that makerwys does not work properly with p3d v4
And you have to download lorby si add on organiser for p3d v4
Which i did

| I, too, am having the exact same problem. I will add that when pressing Connect, the instructor's voice begins and gets as far as saying the aircraft type and registration number before being cut off. I also had to add the Lorby organiser program, as instructed by Peter Dowson in his text about Make Runways.

Can you tell me if you have 'generated runway data' with FSFlyingSchool?
I do not want you to - I just want to know if you have and if so - what happened? When this runs correctly, the user will see two distinct phases where the data is generated by two separate programs - each of which takes several seconds (possibly as long as a couple of minutes).
Please let me know.

Hi,
was there a resolution for this problem? I have exactly the same issue with FSFS 2017 with P3Dv4.2.
Same issue with MakeRunways as well. However, I ran version 4.6.9.9 (latest version) in P3D main folder, and FSFS doesn't complain about missing runway data anymore.

The Dowson download site
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
has version 4.8.4.0 of of MakeRunways as of March 30 2018.
Can I ask JohnLD if, basically, everything is working on his PC now - or is there still a problem?
