Hi,

I keep getting mails about upgrading to FSFS PRO 2016, but as far as I am aware, this is the product that I am already running.

Is this an updated version or is this mailshot just going out to all users?

The version that shows within the credits is "FSFlyingSchool Pro 2016 (October 7 2016) and at the bottom, shows v5.2.0

Just wanted to double check as the mails mention that time is running out :-)

Thanks

Andrew

Hi Andrew:

Good news - you don't have the latest version but you can update your version for free by simply downloading the latest demo into the same folder as your existing installation.

The latest version is 5.3.0 whereas you have 5.2.0.

The latest version number is always shown at the DEMO page for the product on our website. Yours is here...

The mailer was indeed sent to all pilots - it has information on all the simulators we publish for and so went out to all. We do not structure the mailers based on which version of our software for each simulator software the pilot has.

Note to all readers - As always, in order to update a REGISTERED (purchased) copy of the product, you merely need to download the demo into the same folder as your existing installation. This will have the effect, as described above, installing a newer version of THE SAME PRODUCT. In this case, FSFlyingSchool PRO 2016 for P3Dv3.

This is in contrast to UPGRADING which is the act of buying a new product, at a discount.
