Hi Robert:

Thanks for your interest in our products! The following applies to all our products.

We find in the few cases where this error has been noted that it can be solved by either returning the configuration of audio equipment and software on your PC to a previous state (which can be as simple as, for example, plugging back in a USB headset which was previously plugged in) or if no audio equipment or software has changed...

...perform the following steps to make certain that the software is always being told to run as an administrator - even if you are the only person who uses the PC.

You should always launch FSFlyingSchool as an administrator or Windows may prevent operations such as saving your own data to your PC.

To do this just right click on the icon which launches FSFlyingSchool and choose "Run as Administrator" - you should also indicate that this is a permanent choice in the "Properties" of the icon - accessed by a right click - in the "Advanced" button on the "Shortcut" tab.

Please let me know how you get on and if you have any questions.

Hello Squadleader. I went back into the setting section and turned off the voice command. It appears to be working fine now, however, does this mean I will not be able to use this function as this is the only way the program will work?

Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert:

OK - it appears to be, potentially, audio related, but no, you certainly don't need to use FSFS without audio options.

Can you please take the steps described in my first reply to your post here and set FSFlyingSchool to "Run as Administrator".

Then try your audio (sound/microphone) settings at the settings screen of FSFS - in most cases this will now work just fine.

If it does not - please let me know - and please list all the sound devices listed at the settings screen of FSFS in the drop down list AND let me know what audio input and output devices are connected to the PC.
