| Hi I have just bought Flying School 2013 and seem to have registered and installed it ok but I have the following problem that I can't seem to sort out. I get no instructor voice when I'm in FSX and also the section where you choose which instructor you want (Mr Smith etc) is greyed out and I can't choose anything nor can I hear anything when I click on the button to hear the instructor voice. Strangely, when I disconnect from FSX the previously inactive sections relating to the instructor becomes active (and I can see the drop down list of instructors etc). Whatever happens I still can't hear the instructor voice. The only unusual thing I have in the setup is that I have to run the programme as an administrator rather than it just running normally but this is not a problem in itself. Any thoughts?? Jerry

Hi Jerry:
What happens when you press "listen to instructor" at the pilots screen or aircraft screen in FSFS?
Is Disable Sound turned on at the pilots screen?
Is Instructor Volume set to NORMAL at the aircraft screen?
At the settings screen pick "Sound Card Setup - Other" and look at the list of cards. Usually, only ONE of those cards will be suitable - if you are not hearing anything please try all the different cards listed until you do hear something and be sure to Save Sound Card Setting each time you change it.
