Dear Jeff,
I hope you are doing well !
I've purchased Voice command (working fine with my lovely french accent !  ) and FS Instant Approach.
On Flight Plan screen (whatever the choosen airport), i get a "No Runway File !" message.
On Settings screen, i click on Generate runway data for flight simulator 2020, the, i get 2 popup screens (closing very fast).
-FS2020.TXT 0Ko
-FSRSRWYS.LOG 1Ko (1904212208 GetDecimalChar()=[,] CDbl(1) / 2=[0,5])
-Runways.txt 0Ko
I've tried to get the RS2020.RWY file from FSFS : same issue ...

Hi again Oliver:
Glad to hear you have Voice Command!
The runway data generation problem is puzzling.
Can you tell me what you see when you open the FS Instant Approach folder with Windows File Explorer and launch
MakeRwys.exe
by itself? It should run for several minutes and build a large file. Please let me know.

Hi Jeff,
If i run "D:\FS Instant Approach\MakeRwys.exe", i can see a window opened for a few seconds, then it closes itself. This window is empty. Nothing hapends
An empty file Runways.txt is created.
That's all.

Thanks for the report.
This means that MAKERWYS.exe is not finding Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on your PC.
1. What date and version is MAKERWYS.exe in that folder?
2. What date and version is the FS Instant Approach application in that folder?
3. Has Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ever been moved or deleted or renamed or uninstalled on that PC?

1. What date and version is MAKERWYS.exe in that folder? "D:\FS Instant Approach\MakeRwys.exe" 03/12/2020 11:21 v5.1.1.0
2. What date and version is the FS Instant Approach application in that folder? "D:\FS Instant Approach\FS Instant Approach.exe" 04/12/2020 13:18 1.0.0.0
3. Has Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ever been moved or deleted or renamed or uninstalled on that PC? No, never. Nothing has changed since its installation

Edit : (Just in case) : I'm using a registered version of FSUIPC (7.0.9 14/04/21)

Hi,
I've made further tests.
- I tried the latest version of MakeRwys.exe(5.1.6) -> No luck
- I tried to rename the Community folder -> Bingo : The file Runways.txt is created (481Mo)
However, FSFSRwys.exe fails with this error : Error 13- Type Mismatch. Location : ProcessRunwayTextFile
In FSFSRWYS.LOG, i get this line : 2404212049 GetDecimalChar()=[,] CDbl(1) / 2=[0,5]

Do you have a place that you can share the runways.txt file created with me such as Google Drive or similar? I need to have the file if possible.

As MakeRwys collects data I thought about airports data that could be stored in the Community folder. That's why i renamed it. I should try to copy each folder one by one to find out which is culprit. It would be a bit long ...

Edit : Same issue with FSFS. But FSFS won't even start. I have to restore the FS2020.RWY file you've sent to me, to make FSFS working again.
