I've been using the approach feature to practice landing for a while, it was all fine until a few days ago. The plane landed on the runway, glided for a while, then all of a sudden, the nose dived and half buried under the runway. Then Flying School reported crash.

If I land without connecting the Flying School, this strange behavior doesn't happen.

Any ideas why?

Hi:

This is very puzzling.

Can you tell me...

- Which of our products are you using (full name and version)?

- Has this happened on multiple occasions with that product?

- Does it happen every time - even if you quit your simulator and our product and then start them both up again?

- You mention that the plane landed and then glided. Did it touch the runway briefly and then float a little?

- Could you please copy and paste the entry which recorded the crash in the 'full pilot log book' if using FSFS into a reply to this post?

This will all help.

In general - FS Instant Approach PRO will do nothing to affect the flight of the plane, except to put it in a certain initial position (and at a certain speed in FSX).

FSFlyingSchool can reduce your plane to a burning, plummeting bucket of bolts if you choose to set the 'aircraft reliability' at a low level at the Pilots Screen, but even this is unlikely to produce the behaviour you've reported.

It would be possible to reproduce the result by simply touching down close to stall speed, bouncing/floating up a little and finally stalling.

Please let me know and we'll proceed from there.
