I have just downloaded and run the Upgrade to FSFS10 and entered keys for voice and detail pack

I am on the ground with flight plan loaded.. When i try to connect i get the following error message:

Runtime error '-2147200940(80045054)

Automation Error

----------------------------------------

Please advise

Also can you confirm in the 'aircraft section' that, if i take the central option, FSFS aircrat i do not need to enter flap and stall speeds

Thank You

I had a runtime error before when I had FSFS installed along with MCE (Multi Crew Experience)...I guess the programs conflicted and I wasn't getting on very well with MCE so I uninstalled it. I had to reinstall FSFS again, but it was fine the 2nd time around.

I assume your FSFS was running fine before you upgraded, so it's probably hasn't got anything to do with it, but you never know. Have you installed any other addons recently that might be conflicting?

The only other thing I could suggest is a clean reinstall of FSFS.

Mark

I did at one stage have everything up and running. Fault appears to have occurred after I went back to FSFS after having tried some Voice commands.  Fault thenappeared after I tried to 'connect' again

If you do not want to enter flaps etc data - just leave everything alone - FSFS will do it for you - full details in the manual.

As to the error - this is related to sound on the PC.

Have you changed the sound card settings in FSFS?

Did your FSFS work fine before the update?

Did the FSFS configuration before the update include a change to the sound card settings?

Please tell us what is listed in the sound card drop down list at the settings screen of FSFS.

Please reply with all of the above and we will see what we can sort out and get you flying with us.
