hello all,

I've had FSX for some time now but only recently starting using fsflyingschool with it after purchasing the Marchetti 260....problem is the flying school instructors don't seem o be getting the right messages from fsuipc.

when i'm climbing i'm being told i'm 'descending too fast' and just before landing to 'get the gear up'. anyone any idea what's going on here?

Flowolf a.k.a Floodcolumbus

P.S. i'll be challenging that cocky eric chap again soon.

When i'm climbing i'm being told i'm 'descending too fast'

FSX requires FSUIPC v4. However, there were issues with FSFlyingSchool's interpretation of vertical speed with early versions of FSUIPC 4. It's working just fine in the latest version of FSUIPC 4. (4.07 at the time of writing).

Please download and install FSUIPC v4.07 from here:

FSFlyingSchool tells you to "get the gear up" if you're flying faster than the gear extension speed. Is this what you're doing?

If not then can you give me a bit more information about the situation?

P.S. i'll be challenging that cocky eric chap again soon.

hi John,

i'm well within the gear extension limit but i'm not sure if FSFS had moved on to landing mode. i'll try it again when i can to see if that fixes the problem.

thanks for the info on fsuipc, i wasn't aware of an update.
