I watched the video and it's so amazing that my answer to my quetion is going to be a letdown but here goes:

That talking instructor is not active in any other aircraft other than the C172. Right?

Hi Tim:

FSFS2009 gives you a team of instructors who will fly with you in any powered airplane.

But - we now are able to offer the 'deluxe' treatment in a Cessna 172 if you either:

a) Fly it in the demo zone near Chicago with FSFS2009 2.3 - this is a free way to try it out

or

b) Fly it anywhere with FSFS2009 2.3 - for this you will need a FSFS2009 Cessna 172 Detail Pack KEY which you can purchase from us or from a number of fine Flight Simulation stores all over the world.

Any Cessna 172 will get the treatment described above, but as explained in the free manuals, the Detail Pack is modelled on the c172 which comes with FS and so if the pilot is flying an add-on (3rd party) plane with different specifications, then the experience will be a little different obviously.

Hi Tim -

No - the pack is for the c172.

All our products can be tried for free.

Hi Tim

I'm not sure of the answer to this but it might be a case of watching this space to see if other a/c are given the same C172 treatment ie a 737 Detail Pack, or whatever

Or to make it stone clear.

You will only get this extra treatment in the C172, as this package it only for the C172, but other packs, for instance for the B-737 might come later, for the interested to purchase.

But its a one plane only special treatment package, or detail pack.
