In fsx i started a flightplan and saved it.

Next I started F-school and loaded the flightplan in the fsx line by clicking computer/c-drive user etc.

Next loaded flightplan and the FP from fsx showed up and agreed.

After starting up fsx, F-school connected and the voice said connected and taxiing..

Next disconnecting F-school.

Does someone know what I did wrong or did I forgot something.

I fly with the default learjet of fsx accelerator.

I have windows vista ultimate.

please respond

Doeke

Doeke:

There are a number of reasons for which FSFlyingSchool will disconnect from FSX or FS2004 if something about the current session is unusual.

When disconnection occurs, it is intentional.

An explanation of the disconnection is given at the Log Book page within the FSFlyingSchool program.

The disconnection could be because the demo version of the program is being used and the pilot is outside the demo area, or because any version of the program is being used and the user has changed the date or time of day, of moved the plane in slew mode, of changed the plane, or is using a plane FSFS does not recognise, etc - this is all explained in the manual.

Also - please be sure to start FSX and get your plane on the ground ready to taxi, and only then, launch the FSFlyingSchool program and load your flight plan and then connect.

Let us know how you get on.

Dear SL,

After I filled in the reg.key(which I was forgotten to do after re-installment) the FS worked.

I have now a question regarding the FS itself.

After taxiing and be airborn the FS voice said that we are going to land and have to line up!

But the flight plan which was loaded correctly was far from the landing.

So do you know what could be wrong?

Doeke:

Good to hear you have it working.

You currently have automatic detection of landings turned on - this is why the instructor announced your landing. You can turn this off - see the manual.

When it is on, the instructor announces that you are about to land if you are steadily descending.

It does not matter how far away you are from your flight plan destination - if you are steadily descending then you will go into landing mode.

This can occur if you descend by accident of course.

Some users prefer to tell the instructor when they are about to land manually. If you prefer this - then just turn off automatic detection of landings - see the manual.
