Using original FSX Deluxe 2004 (Upgrade 2) (not upgraded yet to FSX2020) - flying Cessna C172SP: FlyingSchool Pro 2019 (Aircraft set to FS Data) registered version. System is an Asus TUF A15 FA506IU-AL019T. I set FSX to autorudder (have not yet upgraded to installing pedals). When I Connect FS Pro and start e.g. take-off the aircraft slews and corrects when using hand rudder on joystick. FUSUIP 497a is installed. i.e. seems autorudder setting in FSX is not recognised.

Is this an error in that FS Pro has not picked up from FSX, the option of autorudder?

Can FS Pro be corrected/optioned to follow FSX directly?

Hi flabbett:

Glad to help!

Sadly I am not sure I understand what problem is occurring with FSFlyingSchool.

What is it that FSFlyingSchool is or is not doing that appears to be at fault?

Please let me know so I can work on a solution for you.

Thanks. In FSX I have autorudder selected because I do not have rudder pedals on my system.

When I Connect FSPro and start a flight I have to use the joystick to control the rudder when I expect FSPro to have sensed that I have autorudder selected (in other words the aircraft slews left (as would be the case in a normal aeroplane)).

Can I use PSPro to automatically control the rudder so that I do not have to use hand controls to correct the rudder.

Hi flabbett:

Glad to help!

Thanks - I think I understand now.

FSFlyingSchool is a team of instructors and never controls any of the control surfaces - they are for the pilot to control.

Auto-rudder in FSX means that you want FSX to move the rudder when you move the ailerons.

If you have a rudder controller on your joystick you can use that - this is much better than using auto-rudder.

In either case you can use these controls to keep the aircraft straight if it yaws.

If you'd rather the plane did not yaw in this way you can turn that off too in FSX.

I hope that helps - have a great week of flights!
