| I fly in polar and mountainous regions with my Aerosoft Twin Otter and my instructor (obviously) asks for de-icing on. Well I've switched every de-icing switch on the AS Twin Otter and my instructor keeps on asking for wing de-icing on? As far as I can see Intake de-icing is there, Wing boots auto/manual, Pitot but no wing de-ice per se or am I missing something?

Great to hear you are flying with us in the Twin-Otter - a marvelous aircraft. 
Yes - the wing anti-ice is a little different - our manual for our Twin-Otter detail pack explains...
"Use the 3D cockpit for almost all functions, but note that wing anti-ice is toggled with the H key. If you have a spare button on one of your controllers (joystick, yoke, throttles or other device) you may wish to assign it to this function in your simulator."
As you will imagine, this key is a function of the Aerosoft design - its choice is in no way controlled by FSFlyingSchool.
"H" in FSX usually controls carburetor heat or engine anti-ice.
The on screen captions in FSFlyingSchool also show these controls when they are available to help the pilot who make not know which key to press.
We use the captions all the time - they are a great way to get tips - even if your hearing is excellent and you speak English fluently.
