After completion of a route, trying to save the route to the Google Map facility yields a page which reads something along the lines of "thank you for reporting this error".
Clicking the button to show all routes gives me a page with the following info:
Heading: "Your Flight Maps"
Detail: "Unknown FSFlyingSchool user"
There are "prev" and "next" buttons but no maps are shown. Have I neglected to register for this service or something?

Hi Paul:
It sounds like the map which was to be submitted failed for some reason and an error occurred.
I fancy that you were then left in an unusual state whereby you were at the map screen, but with no maps, at which point the system got confused. 
The key issue is why did the error occur when you tried to submit the map? 
Can you tell me which browser (including version) was used and which version of Windows you are running?

This wasn't a one-off occurrence. It happened at the end of every flight.
Windows version 7 (Home Edition, 64bit)
X-Plane 10.20 (32bit version, of course)
Browser: Google Chrome (Version 25.0.1364.97 m).
I think that answers all of your questions. If there is something that I missed, I will edit the post.

Please make sure the braces "{" and "}" make it into the URL - sometimes they do not...

I see a map.
I checked. My FSFS application does pass the braces to Chrome.

Update:
No. It isn't sending the braces. I am getting a URL such as:
http://www.fsflyingschool.com/MapList.asp?k=0x0x-0x0x-0x0x-0x0x-0x0x (where "0x" represents a hex byte).
I pulled the URL out of my history instead of actually checking it. I think the other one was from an example page I once viewed.
I tried editing the errant URL to reflect the format provided and obtained this error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e21'
Invalid character value for cast specification.
/map.asp, line 15
I don't know if that is helpful.

The boffins tracked down the error.
There was an issue between the chair and the keyboard... An ID Ten T problem... Sim-pilot error...
IOW - I goofed !!!! It's all sorted now. Many thanks, guys.
