Have owned the full v10 version of FS for some time along with the C152 & Voice command pack. A few problems saw me having to download again as was the usual means  + Updating but none of my registrations will  be accepted. Please help--

Should this have anything to do with the additions of certain planes & should this involve repaying I want to decline and stick to what I have paid for but can no longer access--Cheers

Hi:

I'd like to help but I don't fully understand all aspects of your post. Can you help?

>> Have owned the full v10 version of FS for some time along with the C152 & Voice command pack.

From this I understand you to have FSFS for XP10 c172 Edition and the Voice Command Pack.

Not sure about the reference to "c152" as this is only for FSX/FS2004/P3D.

>> A few problems saw me having to download again as was the usual means + Updating but none of my registrations will be accepted.

As this involves the confidential private codes you have purchased, please contact support@FSFlyingSchool.com and give details of the codes you are trying to enter and a screen shot so that we can see the codes on the screen, as they appear when entered into the software and attempt to determine what is going wrong. We need to be able to see them - once this is done we can usually determine the problem at once and describe the solution for you.

>> Should this have anything to do with the additions of certain planes & should this involve repaying I want to decline and stick to what I have paid for but can no longer access--Cheers

I understand you want what you have paid for to be working - of course. I am not sure what you are asking/saying about "additions of certain planes"?

OK. I have V10 version with Voice Pack and Cessna 152 paid for & well used. I bought it a long time back. I tried to update/fix my copy by down loading the Demo and entering my Serial/Reg. codes ect. as I have done in the past &  entering my Reg. Serials but they are constantly being refused. {Invalid serial number}

I thought it may have something to do with the additional aircraft you have added? If it is that & I cannot register because I need to repurchase then I want to re-download FS without the additions--ie what I've always had--I only fly my extensive Hanger of 'Payware' addons  and never use any of  the default planes except the C172.anyway.

Cheers

    Hi:

I think I understand now - the list of additional aircraft are supported in the new product we just released for X-Plane 10. They are not supported in the Cessna 172 Edition.

Sorry about the confusion. I can fly Carenado's C172 in FS as well as the default. Would I be able to do the same with the newly supported planes or do they HAVE to be the v10 defaults.

    Thannks for your help.

    Hi:

    No problem!

As to your question - you can use the new product with almost any powered airplane in X-Plane 10, but you should use the free demo first to make sure you get the results you want. As you will see from the text below, we support more than the default planes - in some cases they are explicitly named 3rd party planes, and in some cases they are just generally planes of the same type (e.g. "747-400") which need not be the X-Plane default planes.

The user can add data for any plane he/she owns.

The way FSFS works (behind the scenes) with the X-Plane program can get complex - but it is explained here in this section from the manual for the new product for X-Plane 10...

    The full manual is here.

Difference to Previous Versions of FSFlyingSchool for X-Plane
Previous versions of FSFlyingSchool for X-Plane 9 and X-Plane 10 were created to give a detailed flying
experience when flying just one specific airplane - the Cessna 172.
This new version can be used with lots of different airplanes, small, medium and large, and the list of
supported airplanes is growing. All these planes are supported at the same general level of detail which
has been so popular with our FSX and Prepar3D add-ons and for which we have won 4 consecutive PC
    Pilot Magazine Classic Product Awards.
The following airplanes are automatically supported in this version:
    Beechcraft Baron 58 (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
Beechcraft King Air B200 (works with plane called 'KingAirB200_2.acf')
Beechcraft King Air C90B (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
    Boeing 747-400 (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
    Boeing 777-200 (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
Cirrus C4 'The Jet' (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
    Columbia 400 (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
Diamond DA40-180 Diamond Star Shade Tree Micro Aviation
    Lockheed C-130 Hercules (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
    Lockheed L-1011 TriStar Wilson Aircraft
McDonnell Douglas KC-10 Extender (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
Piaggio P180 Avanti Ferrari (Supplied with X-Plane 10)
    ...and the list is growing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In most cases FSFlyingSchool requires the specific plane listed above. But in the
case of the Boeing 747-400 and the Boeing 777-200 it will work with any plane that has both "747" and
"400" in its folder name or has both "777" and "200" in its folder name. This extra level of support is
provided as we cannot guess what publishers are going to call the ".ACF" file that contains the plane
    model.

You can add support for as many additional planes as you like - full instructions are provided below
in this manual - you only need to provide a little data about the plane and you're all set!
