Scott:

Not sure how we can help with your query - are you having trouble running Flight Simulator 2004 or is it that you can run that OK, but are having trouble running our product FSFlyingSchool?

Please let us know how far you have got with either of these programs and then we can take it from there.

Scott:

We'll start from the beginning:

1. First for FSFS to work, FS has to be running - are you running 2002, 2004 or FSX first?

2. You need an installed version of FSUIPC on your system. This is free. If you don't have FSX, FSUIPC v 3.xxx is installed for you by FSFS unless you already have it. If you have FSX, you must download and install FSUIPC v 4.xxx from Peter Dowson as described in detail in the FSFS manual.

3. Only then should you run FSFS at which point it will detect your version of FS so long as FSUIPC is installed.

FSFlyingSchool is running on all sorts of configurations all over the world - I am sure we can get you up and running.

Please write back concerning the above points and we'll go from there.

I purchased and installed FSFlyingSchool - Fly Like the PROs with FSX, FS2004 and FS2002. I did go to the dawson link and installed the and ran the attachments already that you have suggested, however, the main console of FSS says no simulator found. It is all grey when "Credits" are accessed meaning my name, address 1, address 2, and registration key have been accepted and correct...My FSS program "FSFlyingSchool - Fly Like the PROs with FSX, FS2004 and FS2002" is not recognozing anything and at the bottom left says, "No simulator found". The Program is not accepting the FSUIPC versions I have tried over and over...I am on hour 18 with this and about to throw in the towell...Can anyone allow me to chat with the "Who's on feature"? This is still being blocked. Sorry if I seem frustrated but the e-mails don't seem to be helping the cause, thought I greatly appreciate your responding to my questions...

Thank You,

Scott Barker

Scott:

You can now post without having to wait.

We're getting closer...

Some questions:

1. What version of Flight Simulator do you have?

2. Which version of FSUIPC have you downloaded?

3. Did you install FSUIPC after download (you need to)?

4. Does your version of Flight Simulator show that it recognises your version of FSUIPC (it needs to)?

5. Are you starting up Flight Simulator before FSFlyingSchool (this is essential)?

Please let us know and we can proceed from there - we always get there in the end.

Scott:

Another related question - is FSUIPC showing up in the menus of Flight Simulator?

If correctly installed, it will be listed in the MODULES menu of 2004 or 2002, or in the Add-Ons menu of FSX.

This is essential. FSFlyingSchool (or any other add-on which uses FSUIPC) cannot function unless this stage is established.

Please let us know.
