>> Speech recognition seems to work outside of FSX.
Sounds good. Important point - make sure you are not using the speech recognition features of Windows when you start up FSX and FSFlyingSchool.
FSFlyingSchool Voice Command Pack requires that the speech recognition technology is present, but you must not be using any speech recognition product when you start up FSX and FSFlyingSchool.
>> When I start up FSX and then FS Flying School I've noticed that in the "Settings" section that the first box does not give me an option to change the setting. Under "Voice Command" it says "Status" then a box with a drop down list of options. The only choice I'm given is "Off - No voice commands."
It is normal for the list box to be disabled (gray) when you are "connected" with FSFS so that you cannot change it while flying with us. Is this what you are describing or are you saying that "Off - No voice commands" is all that is offered even when you are not "connected" with FSFS?>>My FSUIPC version is 4.600a. I have run the training steps in Microsoft Speech Recognition. In the "Credits" tab under "Detail Packs" it has "Key" and a blank box for entering the registration number. Below this it says "Enabled Detail Packs" and under that is "VOICEPACK". Is there anything I'm missing here? This means your FSFlyingSchool Voice Command Pack is correctly registered. This is good.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
