Hi,

I have upgrage version to FSFS2010.
During "generate runway data for FSX" i have a problem.
Make runways works and genarate Runways.txt
after pressing ok i have error:

FSFSRunwayGen
Run-Time Error 13: Type mismatch.

I run FSFS on win7 with Administrator privilages. I have regional settings set to Poland.

Any idea?
I send 1000 first lines in runways.txt

Greetings,
Danielos

Hi

We are investigating this problem.

In order to get you flying as soon as possible, we have attached (to an email to you) the file that is created by the "generate" process.

If you simply place this file (attached) into your FSX folder, that is all you need to do. FSFlyingSchool will see it there and will not ask you to "generate runway data" any more.

This folder is usually:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X

If this is correct then that is where you need to put the attached file: FSFSRWYS.TXT

So... quit all programs first and then put the file there.

Once you have put the file there - launch FSX and get into the cockpit and then finally launch FSFS and go flying.

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi,

I have downloaded the demo version of FSFlyingSchool 2010 V3.4. Seems to be a very attractive piece of software.

But by now I can't leave the tarmac of Chicago because of a "type mismatch error 13" that prevents FSFSRunwayGen from doing its duty.
Did you find some means to overcome this deadlock ?

Bonne soirée
Thierry

Hi SquadronLeader,

Thank you very much for the attached file. It works fine, indeed.

All' s well that ends well, and I'm going to sit myself down in the cockpit and fly with my new faithful instructor .

Yours sincerely

Thierry
