Hi folks - virgin post here, so be gentle
Just getting to know this new version. However, I've had this error 2 or 3 times now (FSFS 2010 + C172 Detail):
Error: 6 - Overflow
Location: ProcessTCASGround
Aircraft: Default C172Apparently at random - and not doing anything in particular. Once I was just taxiing. This was at a fairly busy airport (NZAA) with a fair bit of AI traffic.
Seems to re-start and reconnect OK with the a/c at the same location then runs OK. Does FSFS generate an error log of some kind that could help?
Win7 Ultimate, 64-bit - FSX - run as Admin (UAC off). 4Gb RAM with nVidia GTX 260. Generally runs FSX at high detail with no problems.

(What value)? >> Seems to re-start and reconnect OK with the a/c at the same location then runs OK. Does FSFS generate an error log of some kind that could help? Nice system. I believe this is the first record we have of such an error. Can you try a slightly lower setting for AI traffic and let us know how you get on?

Hi, SL ...
Airline is set to 100% (to get full benefit of WOAI traffic) and GA is set to 70%. Sod's law, it hasn't happened since - after quite a few flights around the same location. May have just been a random OOM sort of error.
Generally, FSFS seems to have settled down a bit now (wish I could say the same about my flying!!!) ... except some more sound issues (see other thread).

Hmm... very puzzling. Well - please let us know if it happens again and if it does please take a look at your settings and pass along anything that looks useful. It looks like a rare case indeed. We've certainly run tests with 100% traffic on both GA and Airlines at busy airports and not had it. But - given the almost infinite number of different configs possible - these things can happen.
