I'll add this just in case it could help.
  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252" ?>
- <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>Object Placement Tool</Name>
  <Disabled>True</Disabled>
  <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
  <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\object_placement.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>Traffic Toolbox</Name>
  <Disabled>True</Disabled>
  <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
  <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Traffic Toolbox SDK\traffictoolbox.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>Visual Effects Tool</Name>
  <Disabled>True</Disabled>
  <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
  <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Special Effects SDK\visualfxtool.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
- <Launch.Addon>
  <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  </SimBase.Document>

I have to go by the book - what is the full path to this data and its filename?

The really odd thing is that FSUIPC is monitoring FS, but it is not in the Add-ons menu. We are looking at it - this is very, very rare.

I'm not 100% sure of the name of the file but I was thinking it was either plain dll or dll.xml

The path to that file is C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX.

Thanks for the info.

Can you send me your FSUIPC 4 installation log file - it is a small text file and would be somewhere like this

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4 Install.log"

on your PC.

For privacy I suggest you email it to us at:

support@fsflyingschool.com

I think there may be an aspect of your FSX installation that FSUIPC cannot function with.

Have you ever reinstalled, renamed or moved FSX?

Thanks - we are looking at it.

Say - has the same user been used to:

Install FSX
Install FSUIPC
Install FSFS
Run FSX
Run FSFS
...???

Sometimes - when different users are involved, even though they may all have admin rights, problems can appear...

This is taking us a while to unravel - sorry for the delay -
