Fellow pilots.

I know so little about some of you.

could you please - if you want to, of course, make a post with a screen from Google Earth pinning your hometown and tell me a little of who you are.

Age, gender (?), kids, wife(s), pets, occupation? interests, (other than FSX and FSFS) and what ever else you would like to share.

Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark

Ill go first, of course.

Im Danish (if anyone doubted that) 45 years old, (December 28 - 1963) and live in Skaelskoer Denmark.

I have a wonderful wife (Charlotte) and four kids aged between 1 and 17. I work at a small private school, and enjoy Badminton, sailing and computers. My wife thinks its just too stupid that a guy my age "plays the computer" but I always say "hush woman - little do you know. I dont play - I fly" (then I always apologize to stop her from beating the toast out of me....LOL)

I think life is great, and am a happy person.

..

Happily retired after 10 years in RAF as aircrew on Avro Shackleton anti submarine maritime a/c (Air Electronics) and then 30 years in the Fire & Rescue business ending up as Senior Instructor on a Command & Control simulator. On the way I spent time as a Crew Manager on front line fire engines / Station Commander of a large city fire station / Emergency Planning Officer-Military Liaison / Litigation Officer / Recruitment Officer.

Then thank goodness it was time to retire and spend time on the things that matter in life, the dog, Flt Sim and my wife. I'm not sure I got that in the right order .

Two grown up kids so I also do my share of baby sitting.

Sure no problem.

My full name is Joseph Michael Green. I was born in Wigan England in 14th november 1958. When i left School i went to work at Fords on a production line. Since then i have been a sales rep, garage manager and a post man. I am now a self employed courier and deliver door to door. I love being my own boss and tend to work my own houres sometimes 13 hour days and at times only 4.

I am married to Victoria, who is  Costa rican. Rather a long story but in a few words i went for a vacation to Costa Rica to visit the volcanoes and i meet my lovely wife. The vacation was for 2 weeks and i stayed for 3 months. That was when i was a post man in the uk. When i got back i finished my job and sold everything and moved out to Costa Rica. We lived there for 4 years and now we are both in the uk. We dont have any kids and are very happy.

I am a christian man and  I feel blessed with my life and trust and thank god each day for it.

I live in the north west of england St helens. My local football team is Wigan Athletic who play in the fa premier league.

i have just tried to upload a google image of my house but for some reason i cant get it to insert.

Cool Joseph.

take a screenshot of your google earth screen, and save it as a .jpg file. (if it saves in anything but .jpg then you can open it in paint and save as .jpg.)

then press the little pic in the top of the post youre making. Locate your pic and click add image. then it should work.

Hello Fellow Pilots,

The JoeMini story.

I live just about smack dab in the middle of the USA in God's pasture as I call it.  I live in a suburb just outside of Wichita, KS, located in the southern middle of the state. Married for almost 20 years now with a couple of teenagers.  I've worked for several aircraft companies over my working career (McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, Raytheon Aircraft, back to Boeing, and now back to HawkerBeechcraft.  I've been a flightsim fanatic just about my whole life, and have every version of MS flight from the old days.  Been around airplanes my whole life, and have aspirations to get my private pilots license some day.  I'm an avid golfer and love watching NFL football.  There is only 2 seasons in the US, football and not football.

Hi All,

Location of the Big Moose.

Final picture shows location of where I worked for 30 years as the radiation safety specialist designing shielding for particle accelerators. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daresbury_Laboratory

Age 52 and took voluntary redundancy as Governemnt funding for Big Science seems low priority.

Very understanding wife who still works at the local hospital, one step daughter just finished her first year teaching at a school in Essex.

One new puppy,  looking guilty!

Cheers

Big Moose

Whoa Big Moose:

That sounds like a very interesting line of work!

I've always had a keen amateur interest in physics, astronomy, etc, but never had the funds for a particle accelerator.

I think an aunt had one... but am not sure.

Must have been fascinating work.
