Hi John Paul and team,

I have been using FSD's new Seneca for my Flying School evaluations and all is working well.  You asked us to send fsu files as we made them.  This one uses figures culled from New Piper's site and brochure, Flying and AOPA Pilot articles and a pdf checklist I downloaded from Danbury Flight School.  I would much prefer flying approaches around Portland Oregon where I live and fly in real life but I will patiently wait.

I don't see the fsu file in my post so I will add it to this reply, if you  already have it disregard this post.

Hi Zane:

Can you disclose how close is the performance on the FSD simulated aircraft versus the real aircraft?

I had a 1976 Seneca II and I thinking about purchasing a Seneca III, IV or V.  I have only flown the Seneca V, via the flight simulator X and the performance was great.  Can you advise if the performance is the same i.e, as the actual aircraft.

Thanking you in advance for your response.

Regards

Mr. Miller

Hi Mr Miller,

I actually don't have any logged time PIC in the Seneca (any versions) so can't give first hand knowlege of this.  I can tell you the book performance is very well simulated and knowing Steve Small (the programmer that did the flight dynamics) did it I have no doubt that it is as close as can be simulated in MSFS.  I don't believe there is a FDE programmer that can reproduce twin engine simulations better than Steve.
