This is great feedback folks - much appreciated!

I won't comment on individual suggestions yet - I want to let this run for a while and see what people are saying.

This is most interesting as some of the items that people are asking for are not what we had expected and the good news is that some of them will be easy  (well fairly easy) to implement, which means we can expect to see them in the product sooner rather than later.

Please keep the ideas coming and if you haven't voted yet, please do!

I would like a lesson type of setup. I think FSX lessons are seriously lacking, or don't provide enough feedback. If you could create better/easier lessons I think it would be cool.

Just a thought.

Hello Pilots,

I agree with rhalko for an optional (un/flaggable) monitoring of communications.
I ask, if possible, to do this with a check of the correct frequency at the right time/phase of flight and not through the numbered options of FSX default ATC, this because there could be people like me using ProFlight Emulator (perfectly compatible with FSFS!) that use external FSX voices.

I use PFE with Game Commander asking authorizations and reading back with my voice without opening any window instead of hitting numbered keys.

I agree also with jfri just for IFR flight plan following at least for horizontal FP and of course as optional (un/flaggable).

At last, I ask you guys of FS Inventions if is possible to have in a printable form doc file, the namefile and the corresponding text of all the comments for having the possibility to create by our own the non english speaking instructors.
Normally for GA Schools you get an Instructor of the same language you have.

I was already thinking at this (for italian language) reading the filename and listening at them...but they are too much to analyze!

May be we could do the job for you in our mother language...just let us try and see: others same language could then download these packs for free and judge the quality.
It's another way to spread FSFS around in the FS communities.

Sorry for the lenght and thanks for the magnificent and intelligent addon you did.

Cheers

Roberto

Many thanks to you for your kind words and good ideas!

Can we quote you?

Also - we would be very interested to hear from anyone interested in recording foreign language versions of instructor files.

Calling all FSFlyingSchool pilots who have not yet voted in this poll!

Please let us know what you'd like to see added to FSFS2009. We do listen to your input as can be seen by the fact that we have already quickly added two of the features on the poll, i.e.

- Option for instructors to tell you what failed when something fails

- Support for multiple sound cards

Sure - these are not the most popular items on the poll - they were items we knew we could produce rapidly and so we did - they are already in version 2.10, published Feb 20 2009.

But - we are hard at work in our Sinister Lab on yet more features from this list and are always, always waiting to hear more from you all on any ideas you may have to make the product more interesting and fun.

Remember - ideas can be big or small. Go for it!

Finally - please use the poll to vote, but if you have a thought that is not on the poll then please just add a reply to this post to let us know what you would like to see.

If you tell us, it may happen. If you don't tell us, it most likely will not.

Will you help us build this dream...?

Well Hello Jeff and Ole, and to all FSFS team; also, FSFS pilots.

I would love to help you make this FSFS product more fun and adventured. I voted on the following and feel that I can help your Sinister Lab out .

Here is what I had voted for:

Instructors are too relaxed - make it harder.
Instructor watches and comments on other traffic.
More event driven (not random) talk from instructor even when nothing is going wrong.
More spoken helpful hints from instructors.
More types of airmanship tests.

Last, but not least: More instructors: Such as myself for example  CFI for Air Canada.

Let me know what you think of the above. Take it easy all.

Regards,

Garrick.
