Hi,

I tried the demo with the Flight Factor A320 Ultimate.
It seems that when creating a new plane profile and the plane has multiple liveries, then FSFS requires a profile for each of the profiles and not just the main A320 Ultimate folder? It will not accept that I name the .fsu file 'xpAirbus A320 Ultimate.fsu' but instead requires the livery name to be included: 'xpAirbus A320 Ultimate UNITED circa 1998.fsu'.
This is not very practical - planes may have many liveries and FSFS should recognise the main plane folder '\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Airbus A320 Ultimate' irrespective of which livery you choose with that plane.

Hi:

Thanks for trying the demo and for your feedback - as usual we are looking at several more of the most popular planes to be added to our default support so that the pilot will not need to create any files for the most popular planes.

Thanks for responding however that does not really answer my question as to why the livery name has to be part of the .fsu file instead of just the "base name" of the plane. I have created one .fsu file for one of the liveries for the A320 Ultimate however I do not want to create a .fsu file for each of the 126 liveries I have in the A320 Ultimate liveries folder. FSFS should accept just one "master" .fsu file irrespective of the livery chosen.

This must be an issue with other non-default supported planes too and not just the A320?

Is this going to be changed/fixed?

This aircraft is likely to be automatically supported by our next version update.

Regarding the current version - we've not received many reports of the type you've described but we will certainly look into it.
