Jeff,

Absolutely thrilled with the update adding the vFlyte PA-28 Cherokee! Makes so much sense given its primary role as a trainer. I had added via a .fsu file but this is better. I had my discovery/intro flights in it this summer and it is now my go to aircraft.

Additional thanks for whatever tweaking you did to the Mr. Smith's recognition of flight control checks as I was a little peeved with him not giving me credit for elevator and rudder checks very frequently

Minor notes:
Run-up is called complete with only 1 magneto check and omitting Carb Heat.
Mr. Smith calls out Landing Light shouldn't when on runway, then immediately after turning off says you should have it on when on the runway. Is this because I started physically on runway but am still in Taxi Mode?

Love how the program is growing and developing. If you find yourself with bunches of spare time, would love a true detail pack for the PA28!

Hi Dragon57:

Glad you are enjoying FSFS!

>> Minor notes:

The run-up logic is generic unlike those for the detail packs (c172 and c208) and as a result it does not look for carb-heat, and also has to settle for a general notion of 'at-least-one-mag-checked'.

>> Mr. Smith calls out Landing Light shouldn't when on runway, then immediately after turning off says you should have it on when on the runway. Is this because I started physically on runway but am still in Taxi Mode?

Just to clarify for other readers, Mr Smith does not refer to the runway. He wants the landing lights on as per the FSFlyingSchool manual which says:

- Beacon
If an engine is on, have the beacon on.
- Nav
If an engine is on, have nav lights on.
- Taxi
If in taxi mode at night, or in taxi mode in a heavy aircraft, taxi lights on.
- Strobe
If not in taxi mode, strobe lights on.
- Landing
If not in taxi mode, landing lights on, unless above 10,000 feet MSL in a heavy aircraft or in cruise
mode in a light aircraft..

It's always growing and developing and we love to make it so! We'd like to hear from X-Plane pilots regarding which planes they would like to see get the detailed treatment, as do the c172 and c208 at present.

To save everyone time, suggestions are best kept to planes which are very popular in X-Plane as we cannot develop add-ons for planes that while interesting are used by very few X-Plane pilots.
